Inspired
by the success of the N40’s celebrated Around The World Voyage and the
beneficiary of lessons learned from hundreds of thousands of sea miles
traveled by P.A.E. crew members, the N47 reflects our latest thinking in
hull form, construction details and interior space planning. Cruising
efficiently at 8 to 9 knots, she has a range of over 3,000 nautical
miles. At full load, this rugged ship displaces 85,000 lbs. and will
carry enough stores, water and fuel for weeks of self-sufficient
cruising.

At
first glance, the N47 is a very large 47-foot boat, and with her high
bow and broad beam, she dwarfs 60-footers berthed next to her. This
proud bow, reminiscent of West Coast fishing trawlers, will punch
through heavy head seas with reserve buoyancy that builds confidence in
even inexperienced captains. Her stout construction, heavy-duty
hardware, commercial grade machinery and ship-like design all work in
perfect harmony to create an extraordinary vessel that can take her
owners anywhere in safety and comfort.

Electrical

In late 2019, "FUSION"
underwent a substantial electrical upgrade to lithium batteries. This
upgrade provides the capability to use limited 240/120 VAC loads while
underway without running the generator (i.e. air conditioners);
substantially reduces generator run time while at anchor and be able to
plug into shore power anywhere in the world.

Owner's Stateroom

From
the pilothouse to starboard, you take stairs down to the owner and
guest staterooms. The Owner's suite is amidships and has an en-suite
head with granite counters. There is a set of drawers and dressing
mirror on the forward wall. There are also two large hanging lockers and
drawers outboard with additional storage drawers under both sides of
the master bed. Notable features and upgrades include:

Pilothouse

The
stairs from the salon area take you to the large pilothouse. In front
of the high back Stidd helm chair is an easy to view and expansive array
of electronics (listed below). Behind the helm chair is another settee
and day berth with memory foam mattress. All seating areas have new foam
and UltraLeather covers. New custom ceiling panels with fishing rod
storage.

Pilothouse
and flybridge helm steering pumps have been rebuilt. New hydraulic
hoses and valves installed for both the new primary AccuSteer HPU1000
Autopilot pump and the secondary Simrad RPU300 backup pump. The SeaStar
hydraulic cylinder for the steering system has also been replaced (2019)
